I think Garrett's picture is elegant and transcends modern art. Sure, his halo doesn't look real, but Garrett likes fantasy stuff and an artist should express himself how he wants. In fact, I would not be surprised to look into the sky on a bright, sunny afternoon and see Garrett looking after me...my guardian angel.
I had no problems with Garrett's self portrayal as an angel. I have issues with the execution of the project. The elements are not cohesive and merely look as though one cut and pasted different objects together with no regard to the overall composition. The poor craftsmanship is my main objection to his project.
